Didn’t know the preds gave money to the flyers for fans showing up to nashville. That will teach them I guess

You mean Patrick? There is only a 20 some % chance he of tanking and getting the 1st overall pick. Not to say Bedard is Patrick as clearly he is going to w a superstar and will help a team right away. However, w the lottery now tanking is a thing of the past.

Also, I’m deeply saddened by the news you will not be sourcing tickets for the game tonight. Been to many in Nashville including some losses and never regretted it.

This team is different than the last two seasons btw…

One of these games is going to be an absolute clunker. If Hart only plays okay they will prolly get blown out. When I look at and compare these rosters, it is cringe worthy. Mismatches all over the place. Let's hope Caaata Haaaat keeps up his stellar play and the boys bring their lunch pales to work again tonight cause any one of these games has the potential of getting fugly. FIRE CHUCK!

Actually this team is worth seeing IMO, they work hard and the games so far have at least been entertaining. Plus Nashville is a great place to see a game. Getting Bedard would be a dream, but any of the top 3 picks would propel this franchise forward IMO, especially with Gauthier coming in next year also. In the end the Flyers need to be in the top 5 again as they did last year to have a chance, lets hope they are just good enough to entertain us but not good enough to win many more games this year.

Do both teams not get paid by the league for attendance. I'm really not sure how it works but I've seen people say that even the visiting team gets a percentage of the money somehow someway. If I'm wrong then... meh lol

So fsr this team looks different but a few games in is too small of a sample size for me. Plus, still, Chuck feltcher is still in charge so he will mess it up somehow. It's hard to get pumped about this team when I still have to see that man's face.
Besides, we are having a UFC party tonight instead. It's a really good card today

To the best of my knowledge, home teams retain all of the revenue, except for the part that goes to a revenue sharing pool. So, no direct benefit to Flyers.

Indirectly is another story...

I just saw Bedard's numbers for the season so far and they are beyond video game numbers! The Flyers can tank all they want and will still only have an 18% chance of getting him. We know what happened the last time. Hello JVR and goodbye Patrick Kane. I'd rather see some entertaining hockey for a change instead of tanking. I just can't root for the team that I root for to lose. Just not wired that way. Now if you want me to root against the other Philly teams I have absolutely no problem with that!!

Not trying to put words in the guy's mouth but I think it's not so much the players on the ice as much as it is giving Comcast some revenue.

I was offered club level tickets to tomorrow's game for 60 bucks and I was like "nope. Not giving them my hard earned money ". Well that and the Phillies play too and I'm not sitting in traffic.

This team is remarkably similar to last year's team in a number of ways
